Members of the school community are reminded that an appropriate style of dress that supports student learning is required at school. This style requires that:
Shorts, skirts, straps, and dresses be of appropriate length and width.
Halter tops, cut-off shirts, mesh/fishnet shirts, bathing suits, or similar types of shirts not be worn to school and that shirts must remain buttoned with no undergarments visible.
Students wear apparel that is free from abusive or profane language or that promote alcohol or drugs in order that the positive moral tone of the school be maintained.
Students are expected to remove their caps in the school setting.
Outside footwear not to be worn in the classroom and that students wear shoes in the classroom at all times. Gym shoes may be worn for both the gym and the
Students be prepared and dressed accordingly to take advantage of the outdoor breaks (recesses/noon hour). On such occasions when rain occurs, when the temperature falls too low, or the wind chill is high, then the children may be kept indoors.
